This workshop is designed to teach you how to make your voice sound more powerful, how to use vocal technique to expand your range and expression, and how to become more confident in vocal performances. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to Sasha at sashakutsy2018@gmail.com.
Schedule: Mondays from October 16 - December 4 at 3:00-5:00pm, with cabaret performances on December 15 & 16 at 7:00pm.
Cost: $125 (please get in touch with us if you need financial assistance)
Prerequisite: Students must be passionate about vocal training and performance. Students do not need to know how to read music, nor do they need to have taken voice lessons or studied acting to participate in the Cabaret Workshop.
Instructor bio:
Belfast Maskers is excited to be able to offer the talents of an amazing vocal coach who recently moved to midcoast Maine, Mark Power. Mark has over 20,000 hours of voice teaching, coaching multiple genres, and vocal repair.
He has been a vocal instructor for multiple theaters including: King’s High School, Bainbridge High School, and Lyric Opera Northwest Teacher at Cornish College, Seattle WA. He is proud to have trained (from childhood) Kitana Turnbull and Dove Cameron. Other notable names that Mark has worked with include: "Wicked"’s John Mader, Carl Verheyen of Supertramp, "Hamilton"’s musical director, Kat Sherrell, and Bollywood star, Mehnaz Hoosein.
