This musical, which received rave reviews on its Broadway run, is based on the 1983 movie classic runs every Christmas season. Set in 1940’s Indiana, the musical follows 9-year-old Ralphie Parker on his quest for the Holy Grail of Christmas gifts – an official Red Ryder carbine-action 200-shot Range Model air rifle. There’s only one problem: everyone else is convinced he’ll shoot his eye out! All the iconic scenes from the movie are included: Ralphie’s pal, Flick, sticking his tongue on the flagpole; brother Randy dressed up in his snowsuit; the bullies, Farkus and Dill; his old man’s attempts to win ‘a major award’; the leg lamp; the catastrophic turkey dinner; the bunny suit.  Filled with quirky and lovable characters, this zany, heartfelt, and nostalgic musical is as delightful as the biggest, shiniest present under the tree on Christmas morning. Cast: 15 males, 10 females (ages 7-70)
